What do you get when you feed the majority of "The Vampire Chronicles" By Anne Rice into a blender? This movie. Decent soundtrack if you like Korn but rumour has it that the singing wasn't actually dubbed by Johnathan, it was a voice stand-in. Some of the scenes and effects are indeed good but the sweetness of the good scenes is wiped away by the bitterness of "what the hell were you thinking?"
All in all this movie is only for serious Anne Rice fans who just HAVE to see it or people who just want to watch it and don't care about the story or the acting. This was truly a sad effort for Stuart Townsed who does a wonderful job as Dorian Grey in "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen". I blame it on the writing since it must be hard to cram 3 books and hundreds of years into under 2 hours.

I watched it because I liked Interview so much, I expected it to be just as good. What a let-down. They tried to cram too much all into one movie, rather than making multiple movies, and their haste shows. It could have been done a lot better, but I wonder if they were just trying to cash in, and didn't really care how good the movie would be.

i was hoping it would be more like the book, which i love...i was kinda disappointed in that sense...hmm, it was ok overall but i also think it was spoiled by trying to cram too much in..
